Would you like to gain skills & resources required to teach well-being/mindfulness in your classroom?
We have developed a 1-2 day workshop for teachers to teach and implement mindfulness in their own classroom. You will gain the knowledge and skills to understand our wind theory, energy, emotions and the lizard brain concept, the importance of mindfulness for students of all ages. Our workshop comes with resources for all staff to utilise within their classrooms. We offer this program at your school, for your teachers. |

Primary School - Music & Mindfulness
Coolbodz provides music and mindfulness programs within your school for students from K-6. This program teaches your students how to be present, understand their own energy, emotions and how to manage them.
We run through interactive activities to help your students balance their "lizard brains" and keep focused. Coolbodz will teach your class strategies to calm and breathe. We discuss the importance of acknowledging their own feelings as well as the feelings of others. Through music we use Tibetan singing bowls, meditation music, art and formal learning activities for your students to connect and understand mindfulness. Did you know? 6.9% (that's 278,000 children) of Australian children aged 4-17yrs are affected by anxiety and 5.4% have behaviour disorders, our aim at Coolbodz is to reduce those statistics, one school at a time. Lets NOT make anxiety in children normal. |
